Where we'll be, specifically speaking

Eight days is a long time in Oaxaca, so we're considering flying down to the Pacific Coast, to Puerto Escondido, for a couple of days and one night. But while we're in Oaxaca, we'll be staying at the Hotel Parador San Miguel, which is charming and right in the thick of it all, a couple of blocks from the zocalo.

There isn't a pool at the hotel, but there's a rooftop terrace with umbrellas and lounge chairs, so perhaps we'll get to relax in the sun, which means he'll get a glorious tan and I'll get a bit of a burn. :)
